Kadena has a really loyal group of holders on 4chan known as “KDA trannies” because they shill the coin while posting anime pictures. It’s actually one of the best L1s in crypto, and it was shilled there while it was sub $0.30 – then hit around $30 at the peak of the 2021 bull run. Most people on 4chan are still bullish on it.

Kadena is quite distinct because it’s actually a Proof of Work chain – whereas most projects do centralized PoS nowadays. The project aims to solve the “blockchain trillema” which is to strike a balance between decentralization, security, and scalability. Kadena seems to do that because unlike Bitcoin it’s not slow, and unlike PoS chains it’s not centralized. The only problem with this coin is that the team can’t seem to deliver functional DeFi trading on it.
